Blog Content: here's the scoop…

5 May

For the past few years, I’ve had a photo blog at stylebystacey.blogspot.com that I casually post to after a major shoot. With my sweet MyFreckle domain name (which I’ve had for over a year now), I think it’s finally time to move on, leaving the .blogspot part of my blog address behind. So here’s what I’m thinking…

As mentioned in my last post, this blog will continue to contain my unique design work and photography. At the same time, I wish to share a bit of my personal life through photos (see posts like “Adventures in Alaska”). Let me know what you think. I don’t want a “catch all” blog, but I don’t want five different blogs either. For now, My Freckle: the blog is my work and life in photos.

With the creation of this new blog also comes the need for an entire re-design of my website at MyFreckle.com. I disliked it so much that I took the site down the other day. On that topic, do you like the theme used in this blog? I’m thinking I may design my site with a similar look and really work on branding myself. All suggestions are welcome.

And finally in other news, I get to go home this weekend: running The Race for the Cure in SLC, celebrating the birth of my mother and brother, taking dance photos for my brother’s Prom group, and getting fitted for some new running shoes that will help correct this underpronation problem of mine. Oh, happy day!

I’m loving the new look Stacey – the theme is more your look. Can’t wait to start reading more posts.

You’re celebrating the birth of your mother? That sounds a little strange. I thought she was already born by now, so that she could bear/bore/birth you. I guess we’re all different. I do like the new look. I wish you would actually incorporate your freckle. Like a nice macro shot and tile it in the background. Think myspace meets myfreckle. Right. You’re classier than that. I do have one question – have you ever taken your freckle out on a walk and entirely regretted yet? Just asking.
